The death of Flash

Flash player used to be a ubiquitous part of browsing the web, but in recent years developers have moved away from it. Security has been a big concern for some time, and that, combined with being resource hungry, led to Steve Jobs banishing it from the iPhone in 2010. And now Adobe themselves have announced that they will 'stop updating and distributing the Flash Player' in 2020.
